  The music in the restaurant and the jazz music that was available. Also liked the fireplace in the room.

  If I had not paid up front for the hotel, I would have been charged at the daily exchange rate - which was 2x more than when the room was booked. I had a non-refundable room that would have cost too much.

  Tudor style architecture of different buildings. Yesteryear atmosphere. Nice gardens. Quality continental breakfast. Helpful staff. Enjoyed watching various weddings.

  Difficult to find front entrance to hotel reception.

  Staff was super nice. The Homesmith Bar was really a comfortable Bar and the Bartender Michelle was great. It was also great that Continental breakfast was part of our package and staff made us feel very welcome at breakfast unlike places where it feels kind of pressured when the breakfast is included.rooms were extremely comfortable and ambiance of the whole place was very nice and a had a european feel to it.

  Only downside was the construction of a condo going on across the way.

  I liked everything really: - the small intimate nature - the friendly and helpful reception staff - the quality of the rooms - beautiful, clean, functional, special - the castle-like mysterious atmosphere thanks to the old-style architecture - great for families with children - the superb gourmet experience of the meals at the hotel - both breakfast and dinner - the parks surrounding the hotel - great for morning or afternoon walks and fresh air

  The location and facility was perfect for our family reunion. We loved every minute of our time there and will definitely go back. The jazz bar was a great kick off for our visit, and we sat 19 family at the buffet supper on Sunday and the staff took such good care of us . . . babies, kids and all! Thank you to all the staff who made it such a great time.

  . . . everything was absolutely perfect! Five plus stars!!

  The hotel is in a lovely setting in a smart suburb of Toronto. A metro station is situated within 5 minutes walk making travel in the area easy. The bedrooms are excellent with spacious bathrooms. There is a delightful bar with live jazz 3 days per week. This bar was well served by excellent staff especially compared with the rest of the hotel.

  This could be a very good hotel , however on our visit the staff's attention to detail was poor. We had a lot of luggage & were only helped when we were seen struggling past reception with a porter's trolley. The sheets were slightly too small for the bed and as such came untucked each night making the bed uncomfortable. A previous guests chocolate wrapper was still on the floor in a corner of the room during the third day of our visit. The turn down service was spasmodic. A continental breakfast was complimentary but hot options were extra. This hotel specialises in weddings and conferences. One left feeling that the individual traveller's needs were less important.

  My husband flew us to Niagra Falls for dinner as an aniversary present. We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful hotel and a delicious dinner listening to a jazz trio!

  We were going to dine in the big dining room but the music was so loud we couldnt even talk so we went and ate in the bar......only one thing I think that could possibly improve your wonderful establishment is an area geared toward more intimate diners .

  Absolutely incredible! Couldn't have been more perfect for our son and daughter in laws wedding.

  We had difficulty finding our room after the wedding. Might suggest you include a little map in your brochure for guests to find their way, or, have a map at your main entrances showing "You Are Here".
